This course Module gives the practical and expert skills to design and integrate security systems that tie together numerous subsystems into one complete, highly coordinated, and highly functional system. With a flexible and scalable enterprise-level system, security decision-makers can make better-informed decisions when incidents occur and improve their operational efficiencies in ways that were not possible before now. For example, a business can have the following security systems: Video Surveillance, Access Control, Intrusion Alarm, P.A System, Uniformed Guard Service integrated for efficiency, cost-effectiveness and superior security management. At the end of the course, students would have gained the required skills to become an Electronic Security Expert.
Learning Outcomes
- Show an understanding of the strategic, technical, and tactical aspects of the design process for a complete understanding of integrated digital security system design.
- Demonstrate understanding of the fundamentals as well as special design considerations such as radiofrequency systems and interfacing with legacy systems or emerging technologies.
- Demonstrates how to maximize safety while reducing liability and operating costs.
